Women’s Small College Pools Announced

April 19 - There will be a new champion in Women’s Small College, as the University of Chicago was upset in the Great Waters Championship by Wisconsin-Platteville. The Pioneers are drawn in Pool D with St. Bonaventure, who dominated the Upstate New York circuit, and the Missouri S&T Miners, champions of the Mid-America in the club’s first year of existence. 

Pool A pairs reigning 15s national champion Endicott, winners of the Colonial Coast Conference, with the University of South Dakota, runners-up from 2022, and Rugby Northeast champion Colby. Pool B features undefeated EPRU Champ York with Eastern Penn runner-up Marywood and Colorado College out of the Rocky Mountain. Pool C includes South Atlantic champion Lee, who are looking to send departing head coach Chris Martin off on a high note, and Small College All-Star MVP Saira Alexander, Ohio Valley champ Ohio Wesleyan and Allegheny champion Gannon led by all star Lexi Hulick.
