St. Mary’s College of Maryland is gearing up for an unforgettable experience on April 8 as Perry Baker, a three-time Olympian and two-time World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year, visits the campus to run a 7s training session with both the men’s and women’s rugby teams.
This exclusive training session is the result of a special opportunity won by St. Mary’s College’s teams through their participation in recent FlagX webinars with rugby legend Dallen Stanford. The training session promises to be a day of skill-building, excitement, and inspiration for all involved.
FlagX is a growing initiative that combines flag rugby with 7s, incorporating an exciting and essential fundraising element for all club programs. Additionally, it provides a crucial platform for clubs to connect with alumni and attract new players. Equipment is provided to your club at no cost, making it incredibly easy to get started. More information, along with details on some Collegiate Rugby Championship National 7s opportunities contact TagX directly via email info@tagxinternational.com or reach out to Dallen via social media.
While you may have missed out on Perry attending your training session, there is still a fantastic opportunity for your club to participate at the CRC 7s in the NCR FlagX Championships. There are some amazing prizes up for grabs for those involved.
Team Prizes
1. Any club that registers their interest and misses out on participating will go into a draw for 4 Rugby Balls.
2. Any team (must have 8-10 players) that is lucky enough to attend the event will receive entry into a draw for $1,000 and 10 x Rugby Balls donated to your club.
Player Prizes
Participating players will go into a draw for $500. This will be drawn 7 days after the event has been completed. There will be raffle prizes for all participating players to be conducted after the last game, which will include FlagX merch.
There are only limited spots available for your team of 10 to participate. Contact TagX International directly via email info@tagxcinternational.com or Dallen & Perry via social media to sign your team up.
