Hall of Fame 2026 Class
The third class of the Collegiate Rugby Championship Hall of Fame will be inducted Saturday April 25, 2026 at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, MD, with Lindenwood’s Richelle Stephens, Delaware’s Chris Mattina, Kutztown’s Doc Jones and Life’s Darian Lovelace being enshrined.
Wheeling Back-to-Back Champs
Thirty-two teams entered the weekend hoping to hoist the Pete Dawkins trophy and be named the best men’s collegiate 7s team in the country. After two days of big scores, big hits, big upsets and big-time moments, the number-one overall seed Wheeling Cardinals successfully defended their title, with a 19-5 win over the St. Bonaventure Bonnies.
Final Tickets Punched to CRC
With the final 12 teams punching their ticket over the weekend, the brackets for the Collegiate Rugby Championship are set to be revealed at 7 p.m. ET on “Selection Saturday” on The Rugby Network. In total, 64 teams have automatically qualified, and 80 at-large bids have been awarded.
Collegiate Rugby Championship Raises Funds for Olympic 7s Teams
On behalf of CRC ticket holders, National Collegiate Rugby will make a $1,000 donation to the men’s and women’s Olympic 7s teams for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
