Indiana Make a Statement in South Bend

The battle for the 7s National Championship began last weekend in South Bend, Indiana where 28 of the top teams in the nation battled it out in the snow for their chance to win the bid to May Madness. The temperature stayed below freezing all day with winds up to 30 mph, creating the perfect conditions for a true test of character for the teams present. In addition to many exciting matches throughout the day, there were a few early season upsets giving a huge push to the momentum of some of the smaller clubs participating.

Men’s Automatic Qualifiers Kick off in March

The road to New Orleans, home of the 2022 Collegiate Rugby Championship, where four men’s and two women’s 7s National Champions will be crowned, opens in earnest this week and includes over 20 automatic qualification tournaments around the country. The tournaments include Open Automatic Qualifier and designated conference championship tournaments, and will run from late March through April.

CRC to Raise Funds for the National 7s Teams

NCR has partnered with the Golden Eagles in launching a CRC fundraising campaign for the men’s and women’s national 7s teams. The Golden Eagles are a non-profit organization that is the custodian for the USA National Sevens programs for both men and women.
