Men’s Qualification Pathways
The Collegiate Rugby Championship includes over 70 men’s teams across four divisions. From Division I varsity programs to student-run Small College clubs, the tournament will include the best teams from all competitive levels.

The path to May Madness will include a mix of conference-based qualifier tournaments, regionally-based automatic qualifiers and at-large bids awarded by a selection committee. The men’s qualification pathway and women’s qualification pathway require teams to meet specific deadlines and be members of National Collegiate Rugby to accept a bid.

CRC Returns to New Orleans, Live on CBS Sports Network
5 January —National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) announced that the 2022 Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC) will return to Shrine on Airline, in New Orleans, Louisiana, home of Major League Rugby’s NOLA Gold. The three-day tournament will be held over Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30.
