Men’s Division III: Final Four Set After Intense Opening Day
BOYDS, MD – On Friday afternoon, 16 teams took to the fields at the Maryland SoccerPlex in search of a National Championship. By the time the dust settled, only Slippery Rock, Richmond, Springfield and Denver will enter the stadium on Saturday to finish their respective journeys.
Men’s Division II: Upsets Shake Bracket as Final Four Emerges
On day one of the 2026 Collegiate Rugby Championship Men’s Division II competition, 16 teams entered the field and by the end of day one only four remain. UNC-Wilmington, Northwestern, Colorado Mesa and Coastal Carolina each earned a pair of victories to advance to the Cup Semifinals and a chance at a Championship.
Men’s DI-AA: Favorites Advance, Texas A&M Shocks Field
BOYDS, MD – The first day of play in Men’s Division I-AA saw three of the top four seeds advance to the semifinals with a bit of a surprise thrown in. Louisville, West Chester, and South Carolina advanced as expected while Texas A&M was the surprise of the division with an upset win in the quarterfinals.
Men’s Premier: Four Teams Left Standing After Day One Chaos
BOYDS, MD – In the Men’s Premier Division, 32 teams started their weekend on Friday morning with the hope of winning five straight games and winning the greatest prize in collegiate rugby. Over the course of the next 11 and a half hours, that number was whittled down to just four, and of those four only one was a No. 1 seed in their region. Dartmouth, Notre Dame, Kutztown and No. 1 seed Wheeling each picked up a trio of victories and will go to bed tonight dreaming of two victories on Saturday.
