The Collegiate Rugby Championships has only seen one champion in the Women’s Premier Cup since making its home at the Maryland Soccerplex – Brown. Sunday, the Bears made it a three-peat, defeating Army 19-7 in the final.

This was definitely the case with Coast Guard against Roger Williams in the Women’s Division II final of the Collegiate Rugby Championship Sunday, when the Bears had two players taken off the field due to serious injury. Despite the hurdle, they persevered and picked up a 17-5 victory.
Northeastern National Champs in DI Club
In the Women’s Division I Cup Final, top-seeded Northeastern, faced off against the upset-minded Iowa Hawkeyes who had beat a higher seeded team in each of their first three games. In the end, it would not be a fourth-straight stunner, as the Huskies held off Iowa 15-12 in a thrilling contest.
Only Gold for the Gulls
Endicott claimed its fourth national title in four years Sunday, winning Women’s Division III at the Collegiate Rugby Championship. It was all Gulls in the final, as they defeated Baldwin-Wallace, 32-0, at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, MD.
Seahawks Sink Bobcats for DII Supremacy
The University of North Carolina Wilmington won the Division II Men’s national championship Saturday at the Maryland Soccerplex Sunday, defeating Montana State 24-12 in the final. The win delivers the Seahawks the first national title in program history.
