All eyes are on the Monumental 7s in Quincy, Massachusetts, this Saturday, as the largest open qualifier for the Collegiate Rugby Championship is hosted by Major League Rugby’s New England Free Jacks. 16 teams fill out the bracket, with the champion and runner-up punching their tickets to National 7s April 28-30 at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, Maryland.
Three Punch Tickets to CRC in Men’s Premier and DII
The 122-team field for the 2023 Collegiate Rugby Championship crystallized slightly over the weekend, with three men’s teams qualifying across two divisions from the Mooseman 7s. East Carolina and Notre Dame College earned automatic qualification to the Premier Cup, the Pirates beating already-qualified Wheeling in the final. And Auburn punched its ticket in Division II.
